Position: Digital Placement Specialist
Location: Alexandria, VA or New Albany, OH
FlexPoint Media is seeking a Digital Placement Specialist to join our growing digital practice and help our top-tier political and advocacy clients win. The Digital Placement Specialist is an entry-level role focused on the hands-on work of bringing digital campaigns to life — building ad placements, trafficking creative, QA’ing every detail, and pulling the performance reports that keep our team and our clients ahead of the curve.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is excited to learn the digital advertising landscape from the inside out. You will work alongside a team of strategists, buyers, and creators across a national client base, primarily in the political vertical, where speed and accuracy matter every single day. Prior experience in marketing, political campaigns, or public affairs is helpful but not required since we will teach the platforms—you bring the work ethic, attention to detail, and curiosity.
We are looking for someone who is hungry to learn, sweats the small stuff, and is energized by fast-moving, high-stakes work. The perfect candidate is someone who treats every project like it matters—because it does.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up and trafficking digital ad campaigns across major platforms, ensuring every placement is 100% error-free
- QA’ing creative, tracking pixels, links, and tags before campaigns go live
- Pulling and formatting performance reports for internal review and client delivery
- Supporting audience research and targeting strategy across paid social, display, video, and programmatic advertising
Requirements:
- Meticulous attention to detail; you take pride in catching the small things
- Comfort working in a very fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A general curiosity about digital advertising, audience behavior, and the platforms that shape both
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and clients without dropping the ball
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Prior experience with digital marketing, political campaigns, or public affairs is a plus
- Familiarity with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and/or any major digital ad platform is a plus
- Interest in and knowledge of politics is a plus
